Greg Michalak Attorney at Law

Greg Michalak Los Angeles Attorney

I am an attorney practicing in Los Angeles and surroundings areas. I meet with clients in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange Counties. I graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law. I attended DePaul University in Chicago for undergraduate studies. I am licensed to practice law in California and New Jersey.

I did not go to law school straight out of college. In fact, I did not consider becoming an attorney until I was about 28. Before starting my legal career I installed security/surveillance cameras, maintained dental equipment for dentists, and worked as a Real Estate Broker.

I was a Landlord and a Tenant. I worked for proprietary firm as a securities trader. I held securities licenses series 7 and 63. I still trade stocks and options for my own account. I became interested in legal career when I was a real estate broker. That is when I befriended attorneys and found their work interesting. I took Law School Admission Test and I was accepted to several law schools.

Due to my work I wanted to stay in Chicago, so I concentrated on schools in “Windy City.” I chose Chicago-Kent College of Law due to its reputation and practical experience offered to students. Chicago-Kent was founded in 1888 and graduated many excellent lawyers over the span of over 120 years.

Chicago-Kent has always been ranked as one of the best schools for Trial Advocacy in United States. In 2012 it was ranked 3rd in USA for Trial Advocacy program. Many courses where thought by Lawyers who worked in law offices located in our school.

They offered academic as well as practical instructions. It gave me an opportunity to work for a law firm while attending school; after all it was in the same building.

I enjoy spending my spare time outdoors, specifically hiking and camping. I like martial arts; I practiced Karate and Muay Thai.
